Why We Exist and Where We are Going
Our Mission Statement explains why we exist:
To provide a world-class online medical cannabis community that is powered by information, science, education, technology and its users.
Our Vision Statement explains where we are going:
We will positively shape and propel the global medical cannabis industry through patient focused information systems.
These two guiding statements keep us focused and on track. They are the beacons of success that we use when we are making decisions, big and small.
Our Roots: Where We Came From
Kanteeva began as an idea on Vancouver Island, shortly after the announcement of Canada’s new medical cannabis laws.
The passing of this legislation was the start of something huge.
Something much bigger than most people expected.
A Digital Approach
As all of this was unfolding over the next few years, we decided that it would be best to take a digital approach to this new industry since there were so many unknowns and large amounts of capital and influence would be needed to succeed in the production side of the industry. Plus, the team had a solid understanding of digital marketing, technology, business and medical cannabis from their past endeavors.
The Business Model
There were some cannabis sites, yet none of them seemed to be able to create a space that was concise, informative, organic, interactive and that focused on medical cannabis, and more specifically, the first-hand experiences of medical cannabis patients and potential patients.
This was a fresh business model that was not currently being fully leveraged in the medical cannabis space.
Now it was time to create something that we wanted to share with everyone.
In 2017, after a considerable amount of time and effort researching the global, national, regional and local cannabis industries, the Kanteeva team started developing a digital cannabis company which is now called Kanteeva Information Systems.
We are committed to being organic, informative, simple and powered by our users.
The Conception: What We Stand For
After hearing and seeing hundreds of first and secondhand medical cannabis success stories, it became apparent that the focus of the business would be on medical cannabis and “Helping People First.”
Everyday in everything we do, we strive to “Help People First.”
The Ultimate Goal: Help People and Make the World a Better Place
The ultimate goal is to “Help People and Make the World a Better Place.”
We will accomplish this by supporting medical cannabis patients, and potential patients, through their journey by leveraging technology, education, science, social media and data so they can more easily navigate through the ever changing terrain of this relatively new and complex industry.
We exist to help patients and potential patients make more informed decisions about medical cannabis and to open the dialogue between practitioners and patients.
