Dancehall is a 60/40 Sativa Dominant Hybrid that originates from Jamaica and is a cross between Juanita La Lagrimosa and Kalijah. This strain provides an uplifting and creative cerebral energy that is balanced with relaxing body effects. Dancehall is a popular medical cannabis strain that has lower levels of THC and high levels of CBD that is ideal for daytime use.
Cultivated in Jamaica by a company called Reggae Seeds, Dancehall is a relatively new strain but won a Cannabis Cup title in 2010 and has made a name for itself in both the recreational and medical cannabis communities.

Dancehall is a strain that prefers a warm dry climate with minimal humidity. This strain is ready to harvest after 8 to 10 weeks of flowering and will produce 10-12 oz/㎡ when grown indoors. Dancehall should be ready to harvest outdoors by early October and should yield around 12 oz/plant. This strain should be grown by experienced cultivators.
Though rare in Sativas, if you expose Dancehall to cooler temperatures when it is flowering, the buds will turn purple.
